Our Cottages: Are detailed to maximize your comfort and pleasure.
The Living Room: Our living rooms feature artist designed furniture, stylish yet comfortable sofas and chairs, wide-plank wood floors, cathedral ceilings, picture windows and boulder fireplace.
The Entertainment System: Each cottage includes a 27" TV with over 120 satellite channels plus a DVD/CD player. We have a lending library for DVD's and CD's for our guests. Additionally, the cottages are outfitted with indoor and outdoor stereo systems equipped with Sirus satellite radio. You can choose from over 100 music channels or play your favorite CD.
The Gourmet Kitchen: Our spacious open-plan kitchens are suitable for preparing a gourmet meal. They include food processors, coffee grinders, Calphalon cookware and a bar that overlooks the great room. We also provide commercial grade stainless steel barbecue grills with propane included.
The Bedrooms: Each cottage features two comfortable bedrooms with woodland views. The master bedroom includes a boulder fireplace. Our deluxe queen-size beds and ultra-soft linens have been chosen to ensure your stay is a comfortable, restful one.
WATERS EDGE
Hot Tub: Our hot tubs accommodate four to six people and each is housed in a private gazebo to create a spa-like setting that includes dramatic views of the natural surroundings. Also included: a sophisticated stereo system with over 100 music options, plus built in outdoor bar.

PLEASE NOTE:Many of our guests ask us which cottage we recommend for their stay. At Cherry Ridge Retreat, each of our cottages, although identical, is uniquely situated on the property. Here we walk you through each accommodation so that you can decide which one is best for you.
Cottage #1, called Waters Edge, commands one of the best views on the property. Waters Edge is located along a ridge overlooking the property’s main pond, gazebo and fire pit. Waters Edge has a six-person hot tub with panoramic views of the woods and pond, and like all the cottages includes our standard features: a gourmet kitchen, a deck with comfortable furnishings, a stainless steel gas barbecue grill, a stone fireplace in the living room and master bedroom, as well as a private gazebo surrounding the hot tub. Waters Edge is the Owner’s Pick for best views.
Cottage #2, called Still Waters, enjoys the same incredible views as Waters Edge and therefore is also highly recommended for those who desire breathtaking water views. Still Waters comes complete with all the fabulous amenities that make Cherry Ridge Retreat unique in Hocking Hills.
Cottage #3, called Whispering Pines, overlooks one of the largest Ravine's on the property. As the name suggests, Whispering Pines is situated next to a lovely pine grove. Whispering Pines also features its own private pond and fire pit. Another special detail at Whispering Pines is a sliding glass door leading directly from the master bedroom to the gazebo and 4-person hot tub. This cottage is our pick as the perfect honeymoon or anniversary spot.
Cottage #4, called Oak Ridge, is the most secluded cottage on the property. Oak Ridge is situated on a heavily forested ridge and derives its name from all of the red and white oak trees that surround it. Like Whispering Pines, Oak Ridge has a sliding glass door from the master bedroom leading directly to the gazebo and 4-person hot tub. Oak Ridge also has its own fire pit (wood included).
All cottages are 2 bedroom and identically furnished with artist-designed furniture. Each cottage has an entertainment center, which includes: TV, DVD/CD player, stereo with speakers inside and at the gazebo and satellite service with Sirus music channels.
